Top Radio’s Tosyn Bucknor was inspired by many women last year too and she is sharing with us over the next 3 weeks, her 10 favourite ladies in 2010.

Girls! Girls! Girls! Thats a line from … well, a lot of songs! 2010 was a hot year, a lot of things changed and improved and it turns out, the boys club was being beaten! If the boys were not smiling, well the Girls were not smiling either and a lot of women seized the opportunity to shine last year! These are for me, my ten favourite ladies from last year, IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER!

#2 NIKE FAGBULE

Nike Fagbule

Is it possible that Nike has a clone?

I ask because I do NOT know how she is able to give 25hours a day and yet still look so active everytime you see her! Nike did a lot last year. She works with BHM and was involved in several projects including the Soul Mate campaign, the MAMAs (MTV Africa Music Awards), the HHWAs (HipHop World Awards), Nigerian Idol and many more. This superwoman still finds the time to be fully involved with the team that publishes the online and print versions of The NET.

Like  I said, she gives 25hours a day…

#3 MO ‘CHEDDAH

Talent rocks! But you know what truly takes the cake? Talent and Hardwork!
Mo ‘Cheddah is one of the most hardworking artistes I know. She effectively manages to put all her time in (school, rehearsals, studio sessions, appearances, cameos and performances), stay focused, and still stay fresh! I applaud her work ethic. In 2010, she won the MAMAs (MTV Africa Music Awards) for Best New Act.

Someone was gisting me about nike a few weeks back. You go Girl!

I’m not here or there as it relates to Mo’Cheddah’s music but I respect her grind and that of any young girl that gets on her feet and makes her life count.

I’m just hearing of Nike, will google her after now. As for ‘Cheda, you rock!! I hope she stays in school and graduates… It’s heartbreaking to see our artistes give up an education on the altar of music…
