Women Who Blog: A Series

Sometime, long ago, I walked in on two friends talking about me, they said I am deceiving myself by thinking blogging is something worth doing. The funny thing is, when I am with them, they tell me how much they like and believe in what I am doing with my blog.

Which should I believe? What they tell me when I am there? Or what they say when I am not? For months after that, I was overwhelmed with self-doubt.

Why exactly do I rush home after a hectic 9-5 job to work an hour or two on a blog before I go to bed? Does it really make any sense?

There are so many fabulous women bloggers we love and follow, and we will really love to ask them these questions and more. We can’t possibly interview them all so we have randomly selected seven to be a part of our Women Who Blog series.

It is a week long series of interviews with a few of the many bloggers we love. The aim is to have an insight into what they do, how they do it and why they do it.

We hope you will enjoy reading this as much we did talking to these amazing women.

It starts at 9am on Monday 30th of July and will run through the week.

Have a great week, and thanks for loving Femme Lounge.

Reading about you over- hearing your friends air their doubts about what you invest your time in and realising it made you wonder if it was well worth it to put in the hours at your day job and still carry on blogging… is the reason I am commenting really. It does make sense because blogging is a constructive way to use your voice and your talent for something you believe in and that you show such dedication in combining it with a busy job says something about your character- that you are persistent and self- motivated so keep it up!

It also shows that you are a hardworking woman, don’t relent.
