It has been almost two weeks since over 200 girls of Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno were abducted in a raid by Boko Haram insurgents.
Many Nigerians have taken to twitter to put pressure on the Government to take action and rescue these girls. Here are some of the tweets from women lending their voices using the hashtags #BringBackOurGirls, #BringBackOurDaughters, #WhereAreOurDaughters to bring this heart breaking incident to the world’s notice.
#BringBackOurGirls MUST stay on the FRONT BURNER. We CANNOT AFFORD to MOVE ON while our Daughters remain UNACCOUNTED FOR by our Society.

These are children! Not chickens ferried away by a mad dog. How do you sleep at night? Do something! #BringBackOurGirls
