Becoming a mother and wife changes so many things about a woman. In the latest edition of TW Magazine, the energetic Omawumi talks about the changes she has experienced and how they have helped her grow.

For her, there was never an issue of here comes the baby, there goes the marriage. Having to handle both pregnancy, motherhood, becoming a wife and her music career has changed her for good!

Here are a few things she has to say about her pregnancy and marriage journey so far…

1. She is more patient – Speaking on patience she said, ‘I have learned to be a lot more patient now from my husband. Even when he is scolding his voice is still low. ’

2. She worries less – It comes very natural to get worried about so many things once you’re in the spot light, but she says, “I worry more about Kamillah, especially when she started school.… but I thank God that I have a healthy daughter.”

3. She prays more – Having to manage her life as a mother, wife and career woman, she says, “I pray more about everything than worry.”

Curious about her parenting style? Omawumi says, “I am a modern mother. I scold my daughter before I beat her and she has canes with different names.”
