Oyindamola started out of frustration. A frustration of not being able to easily access good fashion at a great price in Nigeria, and then she saw an opportunity to leverage on technology to create an online platform to meet the need.

With over 10 years experience in internet and brand management, and working with various industries ranging from management consulting, banking and eBusiness and telecoms, she created Africa’s primary online fashion lifestyle brand that is dedicated to providing African consumers with access to fashion and lifestyle brands.

In 2004, Honey realised that there was a problem with pricing and distribution of good local brands in Nigeria, while other foreign brands were very expensive to buy in Nigeria. She kept researching the issue while she kept a 9-5 job and embraced the world class work ethics of the various big companies she worked for, including Google and Ericsson

Much later she grew interest in technology and fashion and decided to work on the idea of making fashion more accessible for Africans. In 2013, launched with a small team and has gradually grown to be one of the most sought after fashion site in Nigeria.

Fashpa has partnered with celebrities like Seyi Shay, Tania Omotayo and other foreign and local name brands. Fashpa was also listed on as one of the leading online fashion retail store. has been described as Africa’s ASOS for the similarities in their model and strong use of social media. Honey is driven by the desire to leave an impact and contribute to the growth of the African Economy through technology and fashion.
