I was raised by a hardworking mother. My mum doesn’t only have a job but has always had a business by the side too. It made me understand how important it is for a woman to make her own money. Even as a stay at home mom, you need to be able to get yourself those fine Prada shoes you know your hubby will consider unnecessary expense. So here are some ways you could make some cash on the side while being a stay at home mum.

Home Tutoring: If you have a gift in impacting knowledge to young stars, then you can extend your tutoring skills from your kids to your neighbors and friends (for a fee of course).

Mini Daycare: You can decide to watch over children while their parents are away. Your daycare must be something too big that wont allow you watch over your home, just a handful of children that will enable you be the perfect house wife you want to be and make some little change by the side.

Freelance Writing: Writing is great way of making some extra bucks and it’s fun too (I speak from experience). If you have a passion for it, apply to some Newspapers, Magazines and Sites online that are willing to pay you for your articles.

Sewing: You could take up sewing as your side income business while you take care of your home. Get proper training (or if you already have), turn your family and friends into your customers and viola you’re making money this year.

Pastry Making: If you love baking then why not buy a showcase and serve small chops within your vicinity. In-front of your will do depending on your location that is. You could even bake and supply pastries to a restaurant for sale.

Hand Craft: If you’re good in bead making, making hats, hand fans, ankara accessories, or any other craft done with the hands then do your craft from home and make some money.

Recharge Card Production: Produce recharge cards or be a supplier from home. You don’t necessarily have to sit under an umbrella to sell. You could be a supplier to those who retail.
