Long Hours, Hard Work, Small Pay – A Peep Into The Lives Of Women Working As Labourers On Lagos Streets



We often see them by the road side or at construction sites, they carry ‘pon-pon’ filled with sand on their heads and make as many trips as they can, as fast as they can, from where they get the sand to where the sand is needed. None of these look easy but they do it anyway, it is one of the few chances they have at survival.
