Nigerian Woman Who Cared For Bobbi Kristina Brown Before Her Death Has Been Arrested For Impersonating A Nurse

32-year-old Taiwo Sobamowo was arrested on Sunday in North Carolina on charges of impersonating a nurse.

It turns out she was one of the nurses who treated Bobbi Kristina Brown in the last month of her life, but it has now been discovered that she wasn’t a medical professional at all.

Police say Taiwo Sobamowo used the identity number of an actual nurse with a similar name in order to get a job at the Hospice where Bobbi Kristina Brown died this past July.

In a statement, the Hospice CEO said:

“We had no reason to believe that she was anything other than a good nurse with proper credentials. As soon as the credentialing discrepancy was discovered by one of our employees, we immediately took action and notified the appropriate authorities.”

The Georgia Board of Nursing, following Sobamowo’s arrest, also said she was fired Aug. 5 when she couldn’t provide proof of a license.
