Boko Haram militants killed Aisha Musa’s family and kidnapped her. They forced her at gunpoint to be a bride to one of their fighters.
“They show you a gun, and then whatever they say you have to follow their command,”
“He would go on operations and kill people, and then come home and force me to be with him.”
“I am not enjoying that I have a baby from a Boko Haram man,” she said in an interview with CBS.
Aisha was later rescued by the Cameroon military, but she is now stigmatized by their community for being a boko haram victim and having a baby that reminds them of the evils of Boko Haram.
Aisha Musa is all by herself in the Minawao refugee camp where she survives by selling corn meal at the local market.
