How people make money is quickly changing. Your influence  on social media can just turn out to be all you need to be a millionaire!

Patricia Bright is a popular Nigerian born fashion and beauty blogger who is based in the UK. She has a lifestyle vlog where she shares daily beauty tips and videos about life in general. Her story is a classical example of how your digital influence can get brands scrambling at your feet as they struggle to get in front of their target audience.

Aside from her Vlog, she also has an Instagram page with over 350,000 followers. That huge number of following makes her money. In a recent interview with Stylish, she surprised us when she said that 25% of her income comes from her Instagram – and you thought it was all about selfies and filters!

How is this even possible? Patricia Bright spills!

According to her it comes from different partnership with brands. “It can involve anything from taking a picture with a product, attending an event and taking pictures there, to wearing or styling something in my own way to showcase a brands product.” she said.

In the same interview, Patricia Bright shared the secrets to her growth on Instagram

She lists 3 things;
1. Consistency
2. Honesty.
3. Having a theme.

According to Patricia Bright she posts “Quality thought-out content and consistency is what I know makes growth happen. I post pics I know my audience would like, things I like, quality pieces and content that’s inspirational to make people feel good.”

Sharing good content does not mean that it has to be serious, she says, “Also inject some fun and personality,” Patricia Bright insist. “Everyone is sooooooooo serious! A funny face once in a while, rather than smouldering at the camera is a breath of fresh air.”
