A Nigerian mother of four, Edigin Vivian has been sentenced to life imprisonment in Tanzania. This comes after she was found guilty of drug trafficking. Vivian was of trafficking 797.56 grams of cocaine worth N3.6millin through Kilimanjaro International Airport, KIA.
According to judgement it had been proven beyond reasonable doubt that she was guilty after she had been found with 15 capsules filled with cocaine in her bag along with 48 capsule of cocaine that had swallowed and had to excrete.
When interrogated, Vivian said she did it for her children and would appeal to a higher court.
