51-year-old  Aisha Bello Muhammad has been appointed the new Accountant General of Kano State. This makes her the first woman in the history of the state to have this role.

Aisha Bello Muhammad has a strong background in Financial Management and Accounting and until her appointment, she was the Commissioner of Planning and Budget in the state.
