In this harsh Nigerian economy, everyone is looking money. Some people don’t even mind losing their integrity just to get a little extra cash, but not  this fuel station attendant.

Last week, certain Mr Efe Okposio shared a story on his Facebook page  about how a fuel station attendant returned his lost money, he was so impressed her took photos with her and shared on social media. This week he has also given an update on how the woman was rewarded.

Read his two notes below:

“Some weeks ago I drove into the Mobil filling station on Teaching Hospital rd Gwagwalada Abuja to get fuel. Unknown to me 30k dropped off the car when I opened the door. When I got to my next stop to pick some things I discovered the money way missing.
After driving around for about 30mins I decided to check the filling station. When I asked Esther the fuel attendant about the money. She just stepped into their office and brought my 30 thousand. She could have denied seeing the money and I couldn’t have suspected her. But she brought the money out. 30k is her two months salary but she rose above it.

So when next you’re in Gwagwalada Abuja and your fuel is running low. Stop by at Mobil filling station on Teaching hospital rd. Ask of Esther and give her a good tip”

In a recent update, he said:

Matters arising on Esther Samuel the fuel attendant 2

I got a call from Mr. Akin Fatunke of Mobil Nigeria on Monday afternoon. At first I was weary of the call because this could be another scam job. So I was on my guard to deflate any lie.

Then Mr Reuben Aaron the owner of the Mobil filling station Esther works in called me to inform me of their intention to make a presentation on Wednesday. Then Mr Fatunke sent me a whatsapp message to confirm what Mr. Aaron said that was when I lowered my guard.

This morning the Chairman/MD of Mobil Oil Nigeria plc Mr. Tunji Oyebanji, Mr. Ani Ufot the Supply Manager, Mr. Oladapo Oladeji the Area Retail manager-North, Mr. Ibrahim Dauda the Territory Manager, Mr. Reuben Aaron the station owner and my lovely wife Mrs Josephine Okposio made a presentation to Esther Samuel today at the Mobil filling station on teaching hospital rd Gwagwalada Abuja today.

I’m so excited to be part of this epic occasion of rewarding honesty and integrity. Esther Samuel has sent a clear message that honesty pays. She returned only 30k. But the reward she got today far exceeds the 30k she returned.

I also want to use this opportunity to thank all those that sent anonymous donations. Esther told me all about you. May God richly bless you and make your reward be open.

For those that are still willing to help Esther further, kindly inbox me. We must keep celebrating this until it gets to the presidency.

Thank you for your attention.
