With the present state of Nigeria’s economy, the rate at which prostitution is growing is quite disturbing, in the search of better life some young women are also being tricked abroad to become prostitutes.

In this video, BATTA BOX speaks to Nigerian prostitute.

“My name is Rukayat Omobolanle. the father of my child is irresponsible. He doesn’t take care of our child. I don’t have money for food or school fees. That’s why I’m a prostitute.

I need to take care of my child. Some people think I’m a bad girl, but they don’t know what led me into prostitution. I can’t tell everyone what I’m going through, but I know why I do this.” she said

    There’s no girl who is into prostitution that didn’t walk in with her correct senses,when you suggest were they will work &earn decent cash,they will be insisting on corner marking,its their life.
