Daughter Of Aisha Alli-Balogun Who Was Killed By Robbers In Ikorodu Has Been Released By The Kidnappers

Fareeda, the two- years- old daughter of a slain broadcaster, Aisha Thelma Alli-Balogun, has re-united with her father after being released by the gunmen who abducted her.

Fareeda was kidnapped alongside her mother’s pregnant friend while her mother was killed by robbers in the Asolo/Majidun area of Ikorodu on Friday night.

The broadcaster, who was popular for the Stand-Up Nigeria comedy show, was shot while in traffic.

According to NAN, the abductors released the girl and her mother’s friend on Monday evening at Ikorodu.

It was gathered that they were released after the husband paid an undisclosed ransom.

NAN explained that the abductors had taken Fareeda and her mother’s friend to a deserted area and handed over transportation fare to the pregnant woman, while Fareeda’s father was asked to wait for them at another place.

The Lagos State Command Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos confirmed the release of the little girl and her mother’s friend, but explained that he doesn’t have any information on when they were released.
