Do you remember JayZ, American’s media mogul’s megahit 2013 album “Magna Carta Holy Grail album in 2013?

Incase you can’t remember, download it from the internet and listen to the eight track, “Crown.”

The production of the said track is the work of Ebony Oshunrinde, better known as WondaGurl.

Ebony Oshunrinde is a  record producer and has worked with a number of well-known artists in the music industry.

Now 19, Ebony started producing on her keyboard with drum pads at the age of 9. She downloaded music software and taught herself how to use it from watching YouTube videos.

At 15, Ebony won first place at the 2011/2012 Battle of the beatmakers’ competition in Canada, and then decided to take music serious from there.

After watching a video of JayZ and mega producer Timbaland working together in the studio, the self-taught producer was inspired to make her own beats.

Afterwards, she sent it to Travis Scott, a young rapper and producer who happened to be working with JayZ at the time.

A few days later, she got a call from Travis Scott telling her that her beat made it to JayZ’s album.

With her beat on JayZ’s album, Ebony broke out as a music producer at 16 years in 2013.

Since then, Ebony has produced beats for prominent artists like Drake, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Kanye West, Usher and Rihanna.

In a chat with the FADER magazine this year, the young producer said, “I dream about completely taking over the game, in a Timbaland kind of way.”
