We tend not to forget in a lifetime the battle we fought and come out victorious.

A woman on her Instagram page, @sophiaokri_ shared a testimony of how she was miraculously healed of CNS Lupus, even when the doctors attending to her had given up on her.

Central Nervous System Lupus is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects various systems of the body especially the skin, joints, blood and kidney.

There is really God.. In 2010 my life changed drastically. After having an elective surgery and planning on being off work for 7 weeks I went through the worst things of my life. After I had the surgery I was not healing properly. I was in and out the hospital.

I was being fed through a feeding tube. I was so sick. I was ready to leave here. During my 5th surgery in 2 months I was laying on the operating table. Well they thought I couldn’t hear but this is what I heard. I heard Dr. T saying that her pulse is mighty faint on my right side.

I began to try and yell to let him know I hear you Dr. please don’t give up on me. Then, the Dr. on my left side said yes her pulse getting weak over here too. At that time I saw a light and a hand reached down and touched me. It was Jesus and he said call on me child and I will give you rest.

I just start screaming Jesus Jesus Jesus. And then I heard the Dr. Say she crashing she crashing bag her. My eyes rolled open and this lady was doing CPR. When I woke up it was 3 months later and I was on life support and learned that I had a heart attack and my lungs also collapsed.

I also learned that my family was told twice that I wasn’t gonna make it through the night. After finally getting off life support I had to go to therapy to learn how to walk and talk and use my limbs again. Lord God physical therapy was so painful.

Well I finally got to go home and I was home for 2 days after being in there then for 5 months total. One day I told my daughter to come help me off the couch and when I stood up I collapsed. By the time I got to the hospital I was blind In both eyes and paralyzed from the chest down.

After multiple test and MRI I learned that the lupus was attacking my spine and central nervous system. I have CNS Lupus. I ended up in the hospital for about 3 months receiving countless bags of steroids to get the inflammation off my spine and my sight started coming back in my eyes and I start getting feeling in my legs.

Once I was able to take a few steps I was sent to Lakeshore Rehab Hospital. I had to go through physical rehab another 3 months. I was in the hospital and rehab for 6 months that time.
