Are Women Normalizing Bad Behaviour By Saying All Men Are Scum? Precious And Bola Discuss

   

We  hear things like these all the time –  “All men cheat”,  “All men are scum” “Yoruba men are demons”.   Women say it to each other  and men say it to one another and to their women.

But sometimes we need to pause and think that by saying and believing these things, we are reinforcing bad behaviour and giving excuses for men who are being unfaithful to us.

The truth is, some men are faithful. And that should tell us that being faithful is not about gender, but about choosing to  do right by the person you  say you love.

‘Men are scum’ and the ‘Yoruba demon’ tag started on social and it has become an everyday slag, reinforcing the wrong belief that all men cheat.
