Georgina Onuoha Calls On Nigerian Police To Arrest Mike Uno For Putting Two Women On A Leash

Some days ago, the picture of a night club owner, Mike Uno, with two girls on a leash went viral on the internet.

While some condemned the act, saying it is disrespectful to womanhood, some did not see anything wrong in it as it happens in the western world according to them.

In a series of posts on her Instagram page, Nollywood actress, Georgina Onuoha showed her displeasure, calling all necessary authority to address the matter.

She wrote,

I woke up to this terrible sight. A man born of a woman in this time and era with girls on a leash to showcase how rich he is because he owns a damn nightclub in ikeja Lagos
I expect every Nigerian to be outrage by this. If you have a mother , sister, aunts, daughters and wife’s.. you all need to start a petition and have this animal arrested. I know some will be quick to say the girls are doing it willingly; but I beg to ask .. due to the abject poverty being witnessed by 99% of Nigerians, these girls judgment are clouded by poverty and hunger any means of survival and can stoop so low just to get money.

I call on the @Nigerian police and human affairs services to arrest this incorrigible coward and charge him for slavery, man’s inhumanity to man and menace.
If you have a wedding and an event and have this guy attend this way without walking him out, you are equally guilty. This is shameful and sickening.

Where are all the so called celebrities that are supposed to be the mouthpiece of its people? Why are so many of us mute on this matter? Actors? Musicians, models and elected officials?

When did our society become numb to everything morally wrong and inexcusable? When did we as a nation and people degenerate to this level? I expect all to be shouting and using their place in the society to call out this folly?

If this were to BE a white man today on the streets of Lagos tying two black girls or boys on a leash; I bet we will all cry foul and call for his execution… so why do we all think it’s ok? Because he is a black man ?

Some say the girls are cool with it and are doing it willingly… does that make it morally right? Both the girls and the boy need to be checked in into a rehab..
Where are all the men in Nigeria that should be outraged by this boy child for putting them in the worst of light?

We are all the women? That should be saying curse be the day this boy was born and to the breast that gave him suck… I know some people know the identities of these girls please report and I will reward you financially they need to be in rehab..

When did we as a society come to this level? Parents!! Most of you have failed your kids.. your child comes back home with gifts they can’t afford yet you dance for joy? How did we become these Nigerians? This picture should be on the walls of every Nigerian actor or artist condemning this act of barbarism..
This is despicable

It’s nobody’s business. We all have a right to live any kind of life we choose! Be busy developing your self that you won’t have time to criticize others. That is the way they choose. Choose yours

She is right it is a free world even God gives us the freedom to choose He only encourages us to choose life. There will be an issue here if only what was done to those girls is against their will but I doubt they are in it for the money and fame. Pathetic

Schoff Montessori, human beings have needs and those needs are of different levels: food, security, love and belonging then significance. If all they are out to do is to fulfill the first three needs, by the time they are through with it, it will done on them that the major part of their lives is gone. What ever you choose to do in life, should be able to change, inspire, encourage and motivate people! That is the need for significance. Like I said, it’s all about choice. We choose according to our level of needs.

Nacho business. They weren’t held against their will.

I mean, this is outrageous. But they’re not technically breaking any law. And the ladies made the choice to be demeaned. So why are you taking panadol for someone else’s headache?
