“I Would Like To Share It But The Only Thing That Would Do Is To Bring Wahala That I Don’t Need” – Omawumi On Keeping Her Marriage Away Social Media

In a time where it is so easy to share every detail of our lives with people we know or do not know on social media, it is amazing that some celebrities are able to keep some aspects of their life truly private. Omawumi is one of them.

Although she speaks fondly of her husband and children during interviews, nobody knows their personal business on social media.

In an interview with Linda Ikeji TV,  she admits it is hard not to share but she would rather stay away from the wahala that may come with sharing. She also spoke on her upcoming projects and her unique calling.

She said:

I try not to but its very hard. My husband is very fine and he’s such a good man. Them no dey know finish o but so far, its a wonderful union, of course we have our fights. I don’t know but I think we were predestined. Its not indian film running in the flower, its just right and we have two beautiful kids, so , no wahala. I wish I could tell everybody everyday, I wish I could tell people his jokes, I wish I could show the things that we do because its funny and I would like to share it but the only thing that that would do is to bring wahala that I don’t need. One human being might just see him and say ‘wow, hello, going my way,’ I cannot judge case. I wish I could but I cannot and besides, he doesn’t like it.
