Kechi Nomu Shortlisted For The 5th Brunel International African Poetry Prize



Congratulations to Kechi Nomu, who is the only Nigerian woman to be shortlisted for the 5th Brunel International African Poetry Prize.

Sponsored by Brunel University London and Commonwealth Writers, the prize is intended to develop, celebrate and promote poetry from Africa.

Born in 1987, Kechi grew up in Nigeria and her poems have appeared in different papers and magazines.

She also writes film and theatre reviews for Olisatv and has had her short stories  at the Farafina Creative Writing Workshop and the Caine Prize Short Story Surgery.
