Louko What? Nigerians Are Not Understanding Why Someone Poured ‘Orisirisi’ On Puffpuff And Called It Loukoumades – A Traditional Greek Dessert


While the Jollof war between Nigerian and Ghana rages on, it appears we have just discovered one more thing to fight for. This time it is our all time favourite – Puffpuff!

An online news magazine, The Insider, posted a video of puff puff soaked in honey, chocolates and other ingredients and called it Loukoumades.

According to them, Loukoumades are a traditional Greek dessert eaten after meal.

Some Nigerians on twitter descended on the tweet to lay claim to puffpuff.
