19-Year Old Uniben Undergraduate Wins N10 Million, A New Car And N250 Million Management Deal In Singing Competition

A 19-year old Esther Benyeogo has been crowned the winner of the God’s Children Great Talent (GCGT) Season 7.

Her prizes include N10 million, a new car and N250 million management deal.

GCGT is a Christian talent competition that began in 2011 and is organized by the “City of David,” Victoria Island, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

NAN reported that it is Africa’s Leading Youth Talent Competition featuring skills such as singing, dancing, musical instruments, spoken words, drama, writing, and drawing.

Esther, an undergraduate of the University of Benin said she knew she loved singing at the age of 13 and had never stopped since then.

The Head Pastor, City of David, Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, said that the purpose of the competition was to identify and celebrate talents in God’s children.

The competition was also to expose and develop gifted children as well as give them the platform to shine forth the light of God.
