How A Little Girl Escaped Being Killed By Her 12 Year-Old Classmate Who Saw Her As Competition

Is competition a good thing or a bad thing for children? This is a question many parents ask at some point during thier children’s development. While some believe it is good to encourage hardwork, some believe is pushed too hard, it can cause more harm than good.

A Twitter user, @_kenenna tweeted of how his niece was almost killed by her 12-year old classmate who saw her as a competition.

According to him, the boy had been leading his class until his niece, who he saw as a threat was enrolled.

Looking for a way out, he filled her water bottle with acid from the lab. Thank God he was caught by some classmates.

He tweeted,

So earlier this week, my 12-year-old niece was almost murdered by her classmate.

She had just gone to play when the boy (her classmate) went to her bag, took her bottle and went to the lab to exchange the water for acid.

When he came to return the bottle, two other boys saw him and threatened to expose him. He immediately poured out the acid and…..left the empty bottle in her bag. She came back sometime later to drink and seeing no water in her bottle started to ask questions.

The two boys who saw what happened spilled the beans and she (my niece) reported to school authorities who called both parents in.

The boy’s father began to cry when he was told what had happened. The boy was interrogated and gave a full confession on the how and why.

Apparently, he had been 1st overall for as long as he’d known till my niece came along (my sister recently enrolled her in the school)

He said he didn’t like the competition, gave it some thought, studied her movement and decided it was the best plan of action.

O boy, I took me a while to accept what I was hearing. HE IS 12!
