Teachers Arrested For Taking Pupils’ Nails and Blood For Rituals

Blessing Omowera, a primary school teacher in Ondo state has been charged to court for allegedly cutting the nails of pupils and taking the blood for rituals.

Blessing confessed to the crime adding that she was sent by a certain Sola Kalejaiye who wanted to use the blood and fingernails for ritual purposes.

Punch reported that Blessing, in the guise of helping students cut their fingernail, deliberately cut their flesh in the process and then clean the bloodstained hand with a cloth.

She was however apprehended when one of her victims, a three-year-old pupil reported her to his father.

The father, in turn, reported the teacher to the police.

Blessing has been charged to court while Sola is still undergoing interrogation at the police station.
