The Isha Sesay’s Testimony Many Nigerians Wish They Can Also Share

Isha Sesay  thanked Nigerian doctors and nurses for saving her mother’s life. In a series of tweets, Isha who is originally from Sierra Leone but works for CNN explained that her mother had to be brought to Nigeria as there were no medical options in Sierra-leone.

Considering the many horror stories coming from the Nigeria healthcare system, many people are quite surprised by Isha’s glowing testimony. Many are also wishing they are able to share the same about their loved ones who sadly passed away due to incompetence and poor facilities in Nigerian hospitals.

She tweeted,

When my mother took ill in Sierra Leone last Dec I had to take her to Nigeria. I’m so grateful for Nigerian nurses & docs who saved her life.

Many have asked which hospital my mom was admitted to in Nigeria. It was Lagoon hospital in Apapa. She was in ICU for 3 mths #gratitude

I am thankful there were medical options in Nigeria for my mother because I had none available in Sierra Leone.

Thank you for all the well wishes for my mother’s speedy recovery. The kind words and prayers are really appreciated. #gratitude
