Get a nutritious family dinner with our simple roast chicken. It is juicy, flavorful and tasty. This Chicken recipe allows you incorporate your favorite spices. We used PoultryMate to save time. You can insert halved lemons into the chicken to make it more juicy.
1 pc whole layer chicken
125 ml olive oil
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tsp chicken seasoning
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
Remove chicken innards and wash the chicken then pat dry with paper towel. In a small bowl mix the pepper, salt and chicken seasoning. Coat the chicken with oil and sprinkle with the season.
Insert PoultryMate and roast for 30 minutes. Reduce the heat to 375 degrees F and roast for 30 minutes. Once internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F, remove from oven and let it sit for 10 minutes before carving.
