How Remi Owadokun Is Helping People Lose Weight Through Her ‘Phat Gal’ Game

Loosing weight is becoming easier by the day with the way technology keeps evolving. People who want to lose weight can now do so with the help on a game.

Yes, a game!

The game is called Phat Gal and it was created by a Brazil-based, Nigerian woman, Remi Owadokun.

The Phat Gal series is an online based animation devised to tell the truth about Fat girls and the lies they believe.

The stories are based on Remi’s true life experiences and those of her clients but they are told as a comedy to make it fun filled.

Remi decided to create the Phat Gal game to increase the call to health consciousness especially to overweight people.

The game shows a fat girl, who while running, sees different kinds of junk food but has to ignore them and make a healthier option by reaching out for an apple in order to lose weight.

Remi is a certified health coach and the founder of Total Makeover Programme Academy, an online lifestyle platform, helping people to live a happy, healthy and better lives.

In 2013, Remi weighed 110kg and lost 40kg in 10 months after spending so much time experimenting on the safe and natural methods of loosing weight.

Her book, ‘How I lost 40kg,’ sold out eight hours after she uploaded it on Amazon, making her an international best-selling author.

The game, which has been downloaded by many women around the world has been reviewed on play store so far as awesome.

For Oluchi David, “I love this app especially the fact that it is safe for my kids too.”

Onaivi Dania says, “Brilliant “edutainment” game in my own submission. The character is not just running for the sake of “running”, but she is striving for a mission : to shed enough fat and become healthy.”

Ajiri Omafokpe commented, “I think that this is a very thoughtful game that mixes humor with the consolidation of the idea that it is actually very possible to lose weight. I believe that this game will rouse hope in the hearts of people trying to lose and retain their lost weight.”

The game can be downloaded here.
