Woman Kills Herself And Lover Because He Ended Their Relationship

A young lady, Blessing, whose intention was to burn her partner to death because he decided to quit their relationship, burnt herself to death in the process.

The Sun reported that after a year of dating her, Blessing’s partner, John, told her he wanted to marry her and he took her home to his family.

But John’s family advised him to take his time in knowing her more before they visit Blessing’s family to pay her dowry.

During that time of waiting, John noticed Blessing’s violent behaviour like being threatened with a knife at any provocation.

As a result, John decided to end the relationship and he promised to help Blessing with N100, 000 to get an apartment since she was already living with him.

Days after John fulfilled his promise, Angela was said to have visited him in his house and burnt him to death while sleeping.

John’s sister, Angela, explained that, “When we got to John’s house, we saw John bent on the bed, totally burnt. There was no electricity and the gas cooker in the kitchen was not affected. The two phones were there. There were no signs that the gas cooker or phone caused the fire. It was only John and the area he was sleeping that was burnt.”

Blessing also died a few days after John was buried.

“She had her chance on August 1, by 7:45am, while John was sleeping, That was when Blessing, who already had her plans worked out, poured fuel on John and lit the match. Unfortunately, because fuel is inflammable, she was also affected.”

According to Angela, Blessing became disturbed when John asked them to part ways, hence, her action.
