“Are We Protecting Our Men Too Much So They Feel A Little Entitled And Self-Righteous Sometimes?” Michelle Obama Asks

The former first lady of the United States of America, Michelle Obama made some comments on the role women play that makes men feel entitled and self-righteous.

She explained that we sometimes protect and pamper men while they push the female-child to be perfect and strong.

She advised men to get friends and interact with each other on things that needs to be straightened out like women do.

“It’s like the problem in the world today is we love our boys, and we raise our girls. We raise them to be strong, and sometimes we take care not to hurt men and I think we pay for that a little bit.

It’s powerful to have strong men, but what does that strength mean? You know, does it mean respect? Does it mean responsibility? Does it mean compassion?

Are we protecting our men too much so they feel a little entitled and self-righteous sometimes? But, that’s kind of on us too as women and mothers, as we nurture men and push girls to be perfect,” she said.

@Michelle Obama u just spoke my mind on this issue. We carefully raise & train our daughters to be a well behaved personality both in marriage & in society at large but we do little when it comes to boy child.

Oh how I wish so many parents(mothers especially) will understand this simple logic & start making amends ASAP!!! It’ll save so many marriages/homes/lives!!
