This Woman Ran Three Kilometres With A Kitchen Knife And Injured The Men Who Were Raping Her Daughter

The 56-year old South African woman had alerted the police about the rape after she was informed by the cousin of one of the rapists, but did not get an answer. So, she took it upon herself to save her daughter!

She reportedly ran for three kilometres with a kitchen knife and when she got to the uncompleted building where her daughter was being raped, she stabbed the three men till they collapsed. One of them died.

Times Live reported that when the police reached the scene of the incidence, the woman was arrested and charged for murder and attempted murder.

But this woman got a lot of support from South Africans who hailed her bravery for protecting her daughter, calling her “Lion Mama” and some, “Mother Lioness”

An online page was opened for her to raise funds for legal charges and over £7,170 was raised. Thankfully, the charges were dropped while the rapists were charged for rape. One of them died from the stab wounds.

Now, the raised money would be used for trauma counselling for both mother and daughter.
