What A Police Officer Told A Woman Who Was Seriously Injured By Traffic Robbers Is Very Disturbing


The festive period is fast approaching and it calls for serious caution as robbery cases are on the increase. Stories of traffic robbers are on the rise and we hope the security officers will tackle the menace before it becomes a norm.

A twitter user, Oki Adejoke narrated how she was stabbed many times by a traffic robber and what a policeman said to her, when she reported the incidence few miles away from where it happened.

She tweeted,

I n my sis inlaw were coming from a function at 7.30pm on d 15th of Oct wen this happened on Eko bridge.

suddenly the drivers side window where my sis in law was was smashed n a few seconds later my side window as smashed too

The hudlum on my side started stabbing me and requesting for my phone n bag at d same time. Pls d following tweets might be offensive

He was stabbing me n demanding I bring my phone’s n belongings. I was helpless

was stabbed on my lap,arm and stomach. I was told by my doc dat thk God d stomach was nt as deep. The robbery happened all under 3minutes. Nobody came to our rescue.

Thank God for a motorist who saw everything happening. He hit d thief so hard with his car dat he rolled over severally

even at dat no one could help to apprehend d thief. Everyone scared i suppose.

date was 6th Oct nt 15th. I am so scared right now. Who knows way d knife he used on me could be carrying. Can’t think.
