If you were the President for one day and you have the power to fix one thing in Nigeria, what will it be and WHY?

Hmmn. I’d say the kirks of the justice system that allow for delayed justice. Why should one trial be taking 10 years at just the High Court level? Justice must not only be done, it must be seen as done.

What is the most annoying thing you have heard people say about women in Nigeria?

There’s the predominant belief that gives me hives- “women in Nigeria are leeches” forgetting that most Nigerian woman carry the burdens in their home. It’s unfair and projects a negative image of us. Most of us do things the right way.

What is the one most important thing about being a woman that you would want your daughter to know?

That would be that she is in herself perfect irrespective of what anybody thinks or says, nobody can make her feel inferior without her consent and that her opinion is very valid.

Do you believe in gender equality? Why or Why not?

I believe a lot in gender equality. The matter stirs my loins. I believe we should all be feminists, advocating for equal pay and also equal respect. The societal patriarchal beliefs needs to be attack at the roots- the family, one person at a time. You’d often hear because you are a lady, you must know how to do this and that. Who enforces this beliefs on the men too?

If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30-year old, which would you choose?

It would be the body of a 30 year old most definitely. Imagine shocking the people that have underestimated you with the extent of your knowledge when you open your mouth while looking like a bag of money. Lol.

What is your opinion of the Nigerian woman?

The Nigerian woman has the strength of a lion, powerful, responsible, entrepreneurial and beautiful inside out.

If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one special quality or ability, what would it be?

It would be to Teleport. Imagine avoiding traffic jams when going to work or going for vacation in the Maldives during the day while coming home to your bed at night.

If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know? Why or why not?

Nothing oh. Sometimes ignorance can be bliss. I am the captain of my soul, let me chart my own course. I’d like to figure out things for myself, make mistakes all by myself. No shortcut to the finish line. I have found my purpose already. There’s nothing the Crystal ball wants to tell me that I don’t already know. Plot twist: what if the crystal ball lies or misinterpreted a situation ? I’d now live my life based on a lie.

Your house, containing everything you own, catches fire. After saving your loved ones, you have time to safely make a final dash to save any one item What would it be? Why?

Nothing. There’s nothing more important to me than family. Everything on my phone and laptop is backed up on cloud. I could always get an affidavit for my certificates. Everything is replaceable except the ones I love. We’d be alright.

If you don’t have to worry about making money, what would you do all day?

Reading. Then when my eyes ache, I’d probably stroll offering compliments to people who need it. Most of us learn to criticize and not to appreciate. We don’t know how much our words could be the highlight of someone’s day.

If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to? What happened that year?

Travel back in time?? Nahh…I’m good. What’s gold without the refining fire? I like to think my experiences are the call cards of the person I am now.

How do you think your friends would describe you?

They’d probably say goofy, intelligent, light hearted but very stubborn girl who sees humor in everything.

Would you like to be famous? In what way?

I’d like to be famous in a Mother Theresa kind of way, for doing good especially as regards matters that concern women and children. Except of course, I’d be slaying. Lol.

Is there something that you’ve dreamt of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it?

I have dreamt of travelling the world. I’d love to see the lights of Paris, the architecture of Rome, the beauty of the Amazons, the wall of China. I could go on and on. What I want is not what my pockets wants for me. But it’s the first item on my bucket list though.

Would you be willing to have horrible nightmares for a year if you would be rewarded with extraordinary wealth for a life time? Why or Why not?

The nightmares of course. I just said i want to travel the world. Would the trip fund itself? What better money than my own money? Hehehe. Provided I don’t run mad though. I have a very active imagination. I shouldn’t be seeing ghosts in every shadow when the money finally comes.
