For Those Wondering, This Is The Real Reason Mercy Johnson Deleted Her Husband’s Photos From Her Instagram Page

It is almost a norm with Nigerian celebrities to unfollow or delete their partner’s pictures from their social media page when they are having issues. So, when Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson deleted all her husband’s pictures on her Instagram page last week, many thought there was a problem in the actress’ home.

While some people showed concern, some claimed that the actress had been divorced by her husband over infidelity.

But the actress responded to the insinuations with a picture of her and her husband dressed in similar pyjamas with a bible in her hands.

“thats not happening. is it your delete?” she asked rumour mongers.

In an exclusive chat with TheNet, Mercy revealed the reason behind her action.

She said,

I usually delete all the pictures on my page from time to time and this time around, I didn’t just delete my husband’s pictures, I deleted photos of me and my children. In fact, my husband is in shock at the drama emanating from social media.

“We had a photo shoot and of course you know the new year swag na, so I said to delete the old pictures I had which is what I do normally, na im e backfire oooo.
