Like Omotola, We Are Also So Afraid Of This One Thing…


Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde celebrated her 40th birthday in an elaborate one week event in February this year and closed it with an elaborate party that witnessed the attendance of the high and mighty in the society.

Clocking 40, having a family that supports her, and staying relevant in the entertainment industry is not an easy feat and for Omotola, its worth celebrating.

Away from the glamour, she has had her fair share of challenges. One of which was after she had her second child.

Omotola says she suffered a mild depression because she feared her new reality might mean extra body weight and few jobs in a very vain industry.

But her husband quickly came to her rescue and christened his wife Omosexy , because that is what she is to him. The fans caught on it and that has been the business side of Omotola.

Now at 40, Omotola is only scared of not being fulfilled,

For me right now, everything is like icing on the cake. I’m just enjoying and exploring as much as God can give me the inspiration and strength to. I’m not afraid of getting older, I’m afraid of not being fulfilled, of not feeling like I did everything that I could. Do you know that feeling of “I could do that, why didn’t you do it?” she said.
