Mother-Of-5 Shocked To Discover She’s Pregnant With QUADRUPLETS

She had just returned from a family vacation in Kenya and was going to return to work when she found out she was pregnant.

“When I came back, you have to do a medical checkup before you go back to work in the refinery. So, when they did my blood test, my foreman comes and tells me like ‘Ruth you can’t go back, it shows that you are pregnant. And I was like, to be pregnant at this age, it’s so odd to be over 40 years of age and be pregnant and mid-40’s is like impossible,” Ruth Mochire said.

Ruth is a 43-years old mother of five, who wasn’t expecting any more children but got pregnant with four children.
When the news was confirmed by the doctor, Ruth and her husband didn’t speak for two days as they were bothered on how to care for the babies.

Based in the US, Ruth had lost her home in the hurricane Harvey and is now living in two, two bedroom apartments with her belongings scattered everywhere.

Meanwhile, in Kenya, Ruth’s home country, it is a shame for a woman to get pregnant after 40 but Ruth says that her family has been supportive.

Ruth will be admitted to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. She will undergo five hours of testing for the babies to make sure their hearts and brains are healthy enough for delivery. Once they’re born, they will remain in NIC-U for a month so that doctors can monitor their progress.

their church has launched a GoFundMe page to raise money to support their soon-to-be enormous family.
