What Boko Haram Told Aisha Wakil About The Abducted Dapchi Schoolgirls And The Questions People Are Asking Her

Mrs Aisha Wakil, popularly called, Mama Boko Haram has revealed that the terrorist group contacted her on Thursday to confirm that they have the Dapchi schoolgirls.

The girls had been taken from their school in Yobe state.

Aisha was a member of the Dialogue and Peaceful Resolution of Security Challenges Committee in the northern region, set up during the President Goodluck Jonathan era.

She has been actively involved and played key role in negotiations between the military authorities and Boko Haram insurgents’ commanders, which makes possible the release of numerous abductees from the terrorists’ captivity.

She said that the abductors said the girls were safe, healthy and in good condition.

In an interview with PRNigeria earlier this week, Aisha had called on the abductors to release the girls so as to reunite with their families. She was quoted to say that she was ready to sacrifice her life to rescue the girls.

She said,

They are even the ones that called me, and said Mama we heard what you have said and told me that they are with the girls and they are going to release them. I begged of them and said please let this not be another 1,000-plus days of Chibok girls, and they laughed and said no.

“I asked them where I can come and stay with them (girls) for two days, but they did not say anything. I can assure Nigerians that so far they are with my son Habib and his friends; Habib is a nice guy, he is very nice boy. He will not harm them, he will not touch them, and he will not kill them.

He is going to listen to us, and so far he indicated interest that he loves peace. And I love them for that and believe what they said on this. They will definitely give us the girls.

Her interview has raised many questions, people are wondering why she would talk in a nice way about people who have abducted innocent girls and also how she has such access to the terrorists sect.

It still baffles me why this woman hasnt been arrested. It baffles me how they cannot use her phone to track these poor helpless girls. How can your son and his friends kidnap and you say his a nice boy? Hello, which type of mother allows her child be friends with a terrorist or kidnapper and say you know him his a nice boy, he wont harm the girls. If she was one of the Dapchi mothers would she trust her girl child with a boy all alone for days counting and trust the boy. Nigeria is losing it.

It’s shameful if such dirty words come from a woman who calls herself a mother. So many parents are broken by the disappearance of their wards and you come out to tell the world they’re safe in the hands of your militia son?

Why hasn’t she been put up for proper investigations? What if such calamity befalls her children? Why this country?
