She wasn’t just rescued, her recovery was amazing and she was restored to a life she never thought she would have.
Dark, battered and left for the dead, Ifeoma was rescued by Pastor Tony Rapu and his team at Tincan Island in Ajegunle.
A drug addict, Ifeoma lived under an abandoned truck for four years before she was taken to a rehabilitation centre where she went through the detoxification process.
Although, the process was painful, Ifeoma said she held on to God, reading his words and holding onto his promises.
Some months later, a good-looking Ifeoma was trained as a nurse. She was also given the opportunity to speak with women who were going through what she went through.
She also went back to the Tincan Island to preach the gospel and also encourage others to give up on their bad habits with heroin.
One year later, Ifeoma got married to her husband in a white wedding ceremony.
Ifeoma’s story tells of God’s unending love for us irrespective of the state we are in.
