Lecturer Went to Student’s Room to Have Sex for Marks, Student Made a Video of Him Naked and posted it Online, Student has been sentenced to Jail

Should these women be imprisoned for exposing a sex for mark Lecturer? Apart from being dismissed from the University, shouldn’t this lecturer also face the law?

Judith Ivie Okosun and Juliet Obehi Okosun, two sisters and graduates of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, have been sentenced to two years imprisonment. They have been accused of unlawfully detaining and assaulting a former lecturer.

In 2010, Engr. Peter Otubu, a lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronics, demanded that Judith had sex with him for her to pass his course.

So Judith invited Dr. Otubu to their  one-room apartment in a private female hostel, where she held him hostage, stripped him naked and made a video of him, which has been posted online.

She also made the lecturer issue a cheque of N100,000 in her name.

For being in the possession of the key to the apartment where Engr. Otubu was held hostage, Juliet was also declared guilty.

The Chief Magistrate said Engr. Otubu “suffered for the sin of immorality to have gone to the room of her student which resulted in the show of shame, humiliation and torture which left his career in ruins,” PM News reported.

The magistrate said the sisters strongly conspired against the lecturer, which is embarrassing to him, his family and the university community.

Following the video that was posted online, Engr. Otubu’s appointment is believed to have been terminated by the university.
