COUNTRY 8 OF 40: PORTUGAL (LISBON) Social media has become a place where we are judged based on the quality of our pictures, I’ve mentioned it several times that well edited pictures don’t equal wealth. On social media nobody wants to relate to your poverty story, people want to follow those that they can aspire to, they want to see pictures and comment GOALS. While we are all wailing about #visabae don’t forget that social media is a business of perception. So when you look at all the beautiful pictures on social media always remind yourself that we are only trying to portray the beautiful things in our lives, be grateful for the things that you have. WE ARE ALL TRYING. . . . . Photo location: Belem castle, Lisbon.

COUNTRY 7 OF 40: SPAIN (MADRID). I’ve never really given much thought to Madrid when I think of Spain, I mostly just think of Barcelona. The only time Madrid comes to mind is when the REAL MADRID football team is mentioned, I don’t know anything about football😔. Overall I had an amazing time roaming around the city . . My itinerary. FLIGHT: I flew Air Europa from Milan to Madrid, it’s the best low cost carrier I’ve been in, very clean interior. My flight was a long stopover on my way to Lisbon, Portugal. MILAN-MADRID-LISBON. I booked my flight on www.priceline.com . . ACCOMMODATION: I stayed at Vincci the mint hotel in the city center. It is perfect!!! My hotel was booked using www.booking.com . FOOD: I had TAPAS at a restaurant very close to the hotel, and breakfast at the hotel. . . Is Spain on your bucket list? . . . #mytravelcrush #cocoatravelersintl #travelnoire #passionpassport #femmetravel #blacktravelfeed #dametraveler #wearetravelgirls #wegotoo #girlsborntotravel #meettheworld #darlingescapes #ladiesgoneglobal #stayandwander #nigerianstraveltoo #travelisthenewclub #letsgoeverywhere #gltLOVE #hardlyhome #thetravelwomen #spain #madrid #madridspain #europe

ACTIVITY REVIEW: DUBAI PARKS AND RESORT. It's my second time visiting this place, I ordered the uber without paying attention to the cost and then I got the debit alert and looked at the cost🙄, 122AED(33usd/N12,200) I started having stomach ache (don't ask me why😣). Throughout the journey I kept thinking about the fare😐. . . The entry fee for a park is 235AED and there's a total of 5 parks. 2 days access to all the parks cost 495AED. If you are on a budget just enjoy the area around the parks like I did, it's beautiful you don't need to pay any entry fee. You can also enjoy a boat ride for 20AED. It is a perfect location for adults and kids. . . Picture location: Dubai parks and resort.

14 days and 3 countries, I am super excited about going home. Even though i will be home for only 3 days, I promised myself I will have amala and ogbono for breakfast, lunch and dinner to make up for lost days😁. • I can't believe I am heading to a bucket list destination😁 (Bali, Indonesia) in 3 days. I can't wait to share the Indonesia visa struggle with you guys😫. • Lastly, thank you for 20k followers, you guys make the trips worth it as I am never alone😘😘. Working on a giveaway, was thinking a free trip to Seychelles for two lucky followers. A new company that has been in touch with me for a while now said they would love to sponsor the giveaway as well as have me represent them, I am still thinking about it. Anyway, thanks for being in my DMs and the likes and the comments, again, you make these trips worthwhile. 😘😘

It is officially perfect weather season in Dubai. Most people don't know that it's always not hot in Dubai, from November-April we enjoy (I can stay outdoors and not melt😂) weather. While November-April is a good time to visit, it is also a very expensive time to visit. . As much as I will like to tell you the many awesome ways you can save cost, the most important tip will be VISIT DUBAI AFTER APRIL🙄, when everywhere is hot and things are cheaper. But if you still decide to come my cost breakdown might help you. . 1. Visa: Standard visa cost is about 150usd, some agents might accept 120usd. . 2. Flight: I used random dates(20-27th December) the cheapest return ticket was N288,000 (800-900usd) on Egypt air. Call as many travel companies you can find to compare prices. . 3. Accommodation: The cheapest hotels can be found in Deira and Bur Dubai for 40-50usd per night. Use booking.com, agoda.com and hotel.com to compare prices. I know some people keep hating on Deira😏. You can also check for hotels in Al barsha. . 4. Transportation: Taxis and Uber can be a bit expensive, book a hotel close to the metro, you can also use the bus. . I will put up more posts about activities, where to shop etc. I will also answer questions about planning a trip to Dubai in the comment section 👇. . . Picture location: Global Village, Dubai

I finally had time to collect all my pending visas. I apply for my visas like the lottery (apply for several visas and then hope for the best🙏🏽). About 2 months ago I applied for Jordan visa and Sri Lanka visa and abandoned the application to travel to countries that were not playing hard to get #notime😏. . . Sri Lanka gave me six months double entry visa and Jordan gave me one month single entry visa, I don't know why some countries are always stingy with their visas🙄. I had to use my visa immediately because I already had one expired Jordan visa I did not use and the consular gave me the look of 'if you don't use this visa don't bother coming back😂'. . Jordan is lovely, except for the annoying men on the street that keep calling me brown sugar and dark chocolate😏. . . Photo location: Petra, Jordan.

ACTIVITY REVIEW: DUBAI MIRACLE GARDEN. I don't care much about flowers, I still don't consider a bouquet of flower a romantic gesture😑 (don't judge me). Honestly I will choose a bundle of Ugu leaves over a bouquet roses anyday, I can use one to cook soup😁 and I think I like soup better🙄. My family members think God skipped me when he was sharing the romance gene🤔. . . As much as I will like to write about how I instantly fell in love with the flowers and the stars aligned, non of that happened. I just came here to take fine picture for Instagram, end of story 😣✌. . . Entry fee: 40AED for adults and 30AED for kids. How to get there: You can take a bus from Mall of emirates. . I'm walking round this beautiful resort, changing clothes several times and taking too many slay pictures and I'm wondering at what point will someone walk up to me and say 'sistah you have taken enough pictures, 'come and be going😂😂'. . . 130USD per night for 2 people including breakfast and dinner is a steal and with all the pictures I've taken I'm sure I've used my money well😁. Whenever I find myself in a nice hotel/resort I do my best to take plenty slay pictures😁, not necessarily for social media but for my personal collection. Obviously you have to post a few killer pics on the gram just to let your village people know 'how far🤑'. . . The next time you find yourself in a nice place or eating a nice meal take a lot of pictures. Stand up and pose, sit with your food and pose, if you like snap yourself putting a slice of bread in your mouth. It's your life, document it well❤❤. . . Photo location: Bahari beach resort, Mombasa.

Since I started travelling often I've been taking more risks with regards to planning my trips, like arriving Seoul without booking a departure flight and hotel reservation for just 3 nights, my return ticket to Dubai is from Tokyo and I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend 5 nights in Seoul or travel to another city. . . When i got to the immigration officer, i greeted him ' Good evening Sir' with emphasis on the 'sir' so that he knows i respect him deeply 😂😂. I was lucky my passport was stamped without questions. As usual I was expecting the customs officers to select me for 'random' customs screening, but i wasn't😁. . I finally booked my ticket from Seoul to Jeju island for 25usd and from jeju island (korea) to osaka(Japan) for about 100usd There is no 25usd domestic flight within my beautiful country(Nigeria)😣. . . South Korea is officially on my list of favourite countries. Relaxed visa policy, friendly people, my hassle free immigration experience, Well apart from the cold that froze my nose and hands today, I highly recommend. . . Travel tip: Travel with cash no matter how little 50-100usd(enough to cover accomodation for a night and food). I had to pay for my hotel reservation with cash yesterday because my 'trusted' debit card was declined.

COUNTRY 4 OF 40: MALAYSIA. As far as I was concerned when I took this picture, it was bye bye Singapore and Hello Malaysia. At least that was what I told myself 10am this morning when I got on a bus to Malaysia (at what point do cool buses like this become mainstream in Nigeria🙄). I remembered someone left a comment that Nigerian passport holders are not allowed to travel by road to Singapore, I called my friend to reconfirm because she went to Malaysia by road last year, she said it was okay🙄.Plus it was a risk I was willing to take since I had double entry Singapore visa. . . After spending 40mins at the Malaysian border that’s when I realized the whole road trip adventure was a terrible idea😂😂(or let’s just blame my village people). I was sent back to Singapore to take a flight to Kuala Lumpur. I was lucky I got a flight for 50usd. I ended up clearing 7 immigration check points in one day (let’s just say 🎤 I’m not the girl you used to know, I’m a shadow of myself😂). . All my worries vanished when I checked into my Airbnb, it’s gorgeous. I filmed a mini tour in my instastory😁. . . PS: MY SINGAPORE VLOG IS ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL. YOU CAN FIND THE LINK IN MY BIO. . . . . . . . #naijanomads #mytravelcrush #cocoatravelersintl #travelnoire #passionpassport #femmetravel #blacktravelfeed #dametraveler #wearetravelgirls #wegotoo #traveldeep #girlsborntotravel #meettheworld #darlingescapes #ladiesgoneglobal #stayandwander #nigerianstraveltoo #travelisthenewclub #letsgoeverywhere #gltLOVE #hardlyhome #thetravelwomen #vsco #vscocam #malaysia

SOUTH KOREA AND JAPAN: PLANNING YOUR TRIP. Planning a trip to both countries is not a bad idea. A flight from Seoul to Tokyo is about 2hours; you can find cheap flights for as low as 100usd😁. . . VISA APPLICATION REQUIRED DOCUMENTS. 1. Visa application form and international passport🙄. 2. Passport photo 3. Letter of introduction from your place of employment or school. (Every document you have to prove that you have a job. Employment letter, promotion letter, salary certificate, etc.) 4. For self-employed individuals, company registration documents, Tax clearance certificate. (It won’t hurt to include your company account statement if your company is doing well) 5. Account statement. (3 months) 6. Flight and hotel booking (Not stated for South Korea but it won’t hurt to have it). Please make unpaid reservations. 7. For both countries, you don't need an invitation letter to get a tourist visa. For more information check out their website. SOUTH KOREA: http://www.vfsglobal.com/Korea/Nigeria/index.html. JAPAN: http://www.ng.emb-japan.go.jp/visa.html . For both countries, you will need to apply from Abuja. . . FLIGHT COST: The cheapest flight I found from Lagos to Tokyo was 1235usd on Lufthansa and total travel time is 27+ hours. From Lagos to Seoul 1582usd, 24hours travel time on Air France. If you are visiting both countries, you might want to fly to Tokyo first to save cost. (Please note that flight cost may be higher or lower depending on travel dates). . . ACCOMMODATION: 40-50usd should get you something😩😩. You can use Airbnb or Booking.com. . . TRANSPORTATION: Avoid taxis especially in Tokyo, the prices will humble you😂😂. . . FOOD: Bring lots of snacks and breakfast essentials. The two hotels in booked in South Korea did not have free breakfast options; I’m not sure if it’s a thing or I was just unlucky. . . CASH AND CARDS: Bring some cash along, my card kept acting funny anytime I tried to pay for my hotel reservation. I had to rely on cash. . . Get that visa and tag me when you make it to Tokyo or Seoul😁. Good luck 🙏🏾

Hello from Osaka, Japan. I am here living the minimalist lifestyle. My Airbnb is a tiny box, when I laugh while talking on the phone my neighbor knocks on my roof, my Airbnb host left her pant hanging in the room, I can barely fit in the bathroom (I’m not tall enough for that kind of drama). That is a picture of me sitting on my ‘bed’ for the night😩. If you can afford to buy a bed in Nigeria, and you try this at home, your enemies will say you’ve used your destiny for blood money, that the native doctor told you not sleep on the bed, 😂😂(Nollywood script, starring Kanayo O Kanayo😩). You can check my instastory to see how tiny the room is😒. . . Even though I spent over an hour waiting for immigration officials to give me back my passport, after playing 21 questions with them🙄 and the ‘random’ search by a customs official. The customs official asked me if I’m carrying drugs or guns😂 (sure thing bro, I’m just going to tell you about it because you asked nicely😒). I refuse to let that stop me from having a good time😁. This trip is messy AF, but I know the memories will make me laugh for a long time. . . Travel tip: A valid Japan visa gives you visa-free access to Mexico and Georgia(the country), a valid South Korea visa also gives you visa-free access to Georgia.

I’m finally back home in Dubai, I even packed some jollof rice and peppered meat to eat when I start feeling home sick😁. . . The purpose of this post is to let y’all know how far people go to fake being rich for the gram. Just Incase you think your life is hard, just remember that somebody’s MCM or WCW is pretending to fly business class or first class for Instagram likes and comments😂😂. One nice air hostess noticed I was making videos, she asked if I would like a tour of the first cabin. I said yes and followed her, so that I could get a few clips for the YouTube video I was making. Then she asked if I will like to sit down for a picture, I said NO, because it’s a slippery slope. First you take a fake picture inside first class and people comment goals, the next thing you are paying 200usd to take pictures inside private jet😂😂. . . So if you ever login to Instagram and feel like you are not rich enough, just know that you are rich in mental stability, the kind of mental stability people that have to fake it for the gram don’t have. . . Ps: I have a new YouTube video on my channel, I shared how I get business class tickets for cheap (cheap is relative). FOLLOW THE LINK IN MY BIO TO WATCH THE VIDEO.

ISSA GIVEAWAY. In 2015 I lost a contract job I was supposed to do in Latvia because my visa application was rejected. So yesterday when I got my UK visa and signed my work contract I couldn’t contain my happiness. I am giving away N100,000 to 5 people (N20,000 each), the winners will be selected randomly from the comment section under this post. I don’t want the whole tagging stuff because I don’t need people who are usually not on the page to come because of giveaway🙄😆. . . Tell me what N20,000 can do for you at the moment. . THIS GIVEAWAY CLOSED. The 5 winners are @iamgelafreds @misspoloqueen @toniluchiz @kofosexyy @damarisosunjoku . Someone anonymously donated N50,000 and I added N10,000, I am able to add 3 more winners. @joy_sundayyyyy @mariamotun @shisha_and_co . God bless you as you decide not to get salty if you are not randomly selected. 🙏🏾
