“From The Popular Party Girl In UNILAG To The Focused Published Author/Ghostwriter And Yummy Mummy Who Wears Several Hats” – Get Some Inspiration From Ariyike Akinbobola

Successful women are often asked how they are able to juggle the role of a wife, mother and their career together and their responses is summed in what media personality, Ariyike Akinbobola’s explanation of how she wears her many hats as a woman.

She wrote,

LONG BUT WORTH IT (TRUST ME): From the Popular party girl in Unilag to the focused Published author/ghostwriter and yummy Mummy who wears several hats. When I was in Uni, I was probably one of the few Law students that didn’t take life seriously until one day, (after Law school grad) I sat myself down and told myself some home truths.

I began to search within me for my God given talents then I remembered I used to write and draw comics in Primary school and I enjoyed writing fiction in Secondary school. That was how it all started. I discovered one of my talents and most importantly, I found Peace in writing. I realized I that I could write thousands of words on every and any topic. That was how it all started again. From my Ariyike writes segment on #bellanaija to becoming a Published author.

I also recently started ghostwriting and I’m super excited about my next Project which is highly confidential. As a Mum, I usually have a lot of People asking me (especially Mothers) how I’m able to be so many things at the same time – Lawyer, Media Personality, Published author, Content creator, Youtuber, Humanitarian, Youth Counsellor, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Friend + Super Mum and I always tell them it’s all in the mind.

You have to feed your mind with 100% POSITIVITY. The word CAN came from the word CANNOT so why not choose CAN instead of CANNOT + when I hear the word IMPOSSIBLE, I say to myself I’m Possible so the impossible immediately becomes Possible (learnt from my Aunty AG).

Don’t ever let anyone tell you you can’t do it or be it, try your hands on what feels right and even if you don’t succeed, try again and again, you’ll feel happy knowing that you actually satisfied your thirst for it! I only planned to write 6 lines, I have overwritten again! This is my #misfittohero story, what’s yours? #misfittohero
