2019 Female presidential candidate, Eunice Atuejide was recently interviewed by Daddy Freeze on Cool FM, during the interview she discussed so many things, ranging from politics to feminism. She also shared her views on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Omoyele Sowore, who is also a presidential candidate
Here are excerpts from the interview
On Omoyele Sowore
I’d rather vote a dog than vote Omoyele Sowore as a president. Funny enough, it was from him I heard it, that he would rather vote a dog than vote Goodluck Jonathan. He was obviously so anti-Jonathan that he would rather have a dog as president. And now, I’m so not into him that I would rather have a dog also as president. So, its like, him getting back what he gave to Jonathan through me. It is like tit for tat. I’m not not even a Jonathan fan but right here, I’m more of a Jonathan fan than Omoyele Sowore fan. The guy is just too messed up.
On paying tithe to churches
I don’t do it. I have never paid tithe. I give a lot of money out but you will never see me taking my money to the church that this is my monthly whatever. I do a lot of giving and most times it is for people in need and people that need empowerment.
On Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
I think she’s an extremist and sometimes, I do think she’s misleading a lot of our girls. There are very few times where I agree with her but sometimes, I am like ‘Oh my God, I hope our women do not necessarily take on too much of what she’s saying, because some of them could turn around and bite them in the bums.’
