Another big win for Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji, as she signs a deal with United Talent Agency, (UTA) for representation in film, TV and production, Deadline reports.
UTA is one of the biggest talent agencies in the world. It represents Hollywood’s Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow, Channing Tatum, Nicholas Hoult, Ewan McGregor, Kim Soo Hyun and Liv Tyler as well as other world’s most acclaimed figures in every current and emerging area of entertainment and media, including motion pictures, television, music, digital, broadcast news, books, theatre, video games, fine art and live entertainment.
This collaboration with the agency will reportedly see to the possibility of Genevieve working with top Hollywood filmmakers to produce movies from African and Nigerian stories.
Just last month, her directorial debut movie, Lionheart was acquired by Netflix, making it the first Nigerian movie to be bought by Netflix, even before its released date.
