Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia was the latest guest on 234STAR where she answered 17 questions, ranging from her style to what feminism means to her.
On what feminism means to her, Annie said, “Rescuing yourself”. Asked if she was a feminist, Annie said, “No, not really but I believe in women power. I believe that men are still kings and women are queens. I don’t believe a woman is a king, she is a queen.”
Annie’s response on feminism has generated varying conversations on the internet. While some think her response came out from a place of ignorant, some think that she should be allowed to exercise her freedom to choose.
While some celebrities have shown support for Annie Idibia’s statement, some have not. Cynthia Nwadiora, popularly known as Ceec, has declared that she is both a king and a feminist.
“I’m not a feminist but I believe in women empowerment” Annie Idibia.
Why do these public figures keep showing us how daft they are.
Before you speak on a topic at least do some research so you don’t look stupid.

And for some,
I have a problem with the attack Annie Idibia is receiving because she said she’s not a feminist, is she wrong for not identifying with feminism?!
