On the 26th of December, a twitter user shared a video of a family celebrating Boxing day at an eatery with their kids. In the video, the family of four were seen eating ice cream while a young girl was seen sitting not so far away from them.

According to the poster of the video, the young girl was the family’s house maid.

This post went viral as many people castigated the family for treating the young girl in such manner.

Interestingly, the woman, whose family was filmed, has now replied to the viral video, explaining that she does not know who the girl is.

“Good morning everyone, please my attention has been drawn to a trending video about a couple that secluded their house maid at dominos, please ignore as the person is just looking for cheap popularity, I don’t have a house maid and the video was staged”, she wrote on her Facebook page.

In fact, some of the people who criticized her apologized for judging her unfairly.
