For Those Who Don’t Know, This Is The Deep Meaning Of Teniola’s ‘Uyo Meyo’

Teniola Apata, popularly known as TeniEntertainer’s new single Uyo Meyo is the rave of the moment as people can’t get enough of the song.

Uyo Meyo is sung in Yoruba dialect of Ondo state, and it talks about celebrating others when they succeed, so, one can also be celebrated. The song also talks about dreaming big as she notes that dreams do come true.

The first time Teni sang the song was when she was celebrating her graduation from the America Intercontinental University in Atlanta. For her birthday celebration, Teni released the full version of the song and it ranked the number 2 on Apple Music as people can’t stop talking about it.

On the 4th of January, Teni released the video of her song and it documented her rise to stardom.

Thankful for her achievement, Teni’s video begins with an old clip of introducing herself as Teniola, a girl who likes to sing for people and then progresses to a compilation of her favourite moments along her journey — from singing on her webcam to performing alongside veterans like Wande Coal and Wizkid.

In the song, Teni also eulogised her father, who she describes as her hero. “I’m out here working everyday! I just want to keep my fathers legacy forever! I’m doing this for my father mahn!”‘ she tweeted.
