A widow, Folashade Chijioke is forever grateful to Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde for making life better for her and her four children.

Through her Give and Let Give initiative, Omotola, whose mother was also a widow before she died, decided to wrap up year 2018 by renovating the home of a widow. She called for nominations and the criteria for selection was that the widow must be a hardworking woman, who is raising her kids and giving back to the community.

From the many nominations that came in through email, Folashade was chosen. Amazingly, she was nominated by another widow. In just four days to the New year, Folashade’s home was decorated with new furniture, new paintings, bathroom fittings, an upgraded kitchen, bunk beds and cozy mattresses, a TV, a refrigerator, and a gas cooker.

On the 31st of December, 2018,  Folashade and her children were taken from the hotel they had lodged in during the renovation of their house to a transformed place they could call a home.
