Iheoma Emenike Had An “Experience” With R Kelly When She Was 16

Few days ago, a six part video titled, Surviving R Kelly, was published and it detailed the stories of some black women who accused the American singer of sexual abuse.

The R&B singer was accused of subjecting women to mental, physical and sexual abuse and holding some of them against their will. While R Kelly continues to deny these allegations, more survivors have come forward with accusations.

Former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Iheoma Emenike also shared her experience with the singer when she was 16.

“You guys I actually had an experience with RKELLY. I was about 16 working pertime at a retail store in Sandton (Johannesburg) we heard RKelly was in the mall, so we were standing outside the store to see him pas by and I swear we locked eyes. He stopped and said hi to me, me out of everyone??!! and was asking me my name when my boss called us back in!!

I was angry at my boss though. But watching this documentary now, I’m like wow. Maybe truly underage girls were his type and he was about to show interest”, she wrote on her Instagram status.

Meanwhile, amidst the allegations of sexual abuse trailing R. Kelly, his brother, Carey Kelly revealed that he and his brothers were sexually abused by their sister when they were very young. While some have argued that it may be the reason why the singer preys on young women, others noted that it is not an excuse.

American celebrities have shown support for these women who were abused by R Kelly, as many of them apologised for working with him.
