Two Women Share Their Domestic Violence Stories To Silence People Saying Nonsense About Single Mothers

In a bid to educate some men about the unhealthy attitude of forcing marriage on women and shaming single mothers, two women shared their domestic violence stories.

It all began when Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh posted a beautiful picture and a male follower commented by praying that the actress gets back together with her husband but Tonto Dikeh quickly rebuked the prayer, noting she was not interested.

However, another male follower commented that it is not African to be a single parent, explaining that “all African women need a man in their life”.

Rising in her defense, two women shared their domestic violence story to let people know that before a woman decided to leave her marriage, she must have endured a lot. According to them, the society should allow people make their choices freely without shaming them.
