A human rights activist, Prince Harrison Gwamnishu is currently working on the case of a 15-year-old girl, Ebube, who was married off to a 66-year old man in Anambra.

Ebube, who is with a nine months old child, got pregnant at 14 when she was staying with her aunty. Rejected by her family, the street became her home. When her parents heard that a 66-year old man was looking for a wife, they decided to give Ebube to him.

According to Prince Harrison, Ebube was taken to a shrine to swear an oath that she would never leave the marriage.

“I stopped at JSS3, I have wanted to go but nowhere to go. If I have a shelter elsewhere, I will leave this marriage”, Ebube told Price Harrison, who heard about her and decided to help her.
